Vol. 01 · Autumn 2026 Practical AI for local business Vernal, Utah
The Cover · AI automation For owners in the Uintah Basin
Practical tools, built by neighbors

Practical AI for the working businesses of the Uintah Basin.

We set up AI that answers your phone after hours, handles the questions on your website, and takes care of the follow-ups you never get to. Two locals in Vernal, plain tools, and a call that still gets taken at nine at night.

No. 01 · Services

Four tools for the work that happens after the work.

  1. Phones

    After-hours phone answering

When you are closed, on a job, or at the dinner table, an AI assistant picks up. It speaks naturally, says it is an assistant, takes down who called and what they need, and texts you the details right away. The lead does not sit in voicemail and drift to the next name on the list.

    • Answers 24/7
    • Takes messages
    • Texts you immediately
  2. Website chat

Customer support assistants for your website

A chat assistant on your site that answers the questions you hear every day: your hours, where you work, what you do and do not take on. When someone is ready to talk, it collects their details. When a question needs a person, it hands the conversation to you.

    • Answers questions
    • Captures leads
    • Hands off to a human
  3. Automation

Automation for quotes, follow-ups, and the paperwork

Help drafting quotes and invoices from your notes. Polite follow-ups on estimates that went quiet. Review requests sent to happy customers at the right moment. And the small hand-offs between the tools you already use, so nobody types the same thing twice.

    • Quoting and invoicing help
    • Follow-ups and review requests
    • Workflow automation
  4. Web

Websites that work with the rest

When it makes sense, we build the website too: modern, fast on a phone, and wired to the phone line and chat assistant so everything points the same direction. It is one piece of the setup, not the whole pitch.

    • Modern and fast
    • Connected to the tools above

We would rather build one tool you rely on every day than five you never open.

Alpine Ops, on how we work
No. 02 · How it works

A short conversation, then careful setup.

  1. We talk

A call, or coffee if you are nearby. We learn how your days actually run: where calls come in, what gets dropped, and what you are tired of doing by hand.

  2. We build it

We set up the pieces that fit, using your hours, your services, and the way you talk to customers. You do not need to become technical to get started.

  3. You try it1

Call the line, ask the chat a few questions, read the follow-ups. We adjust until it sounds like your business and you are comfortable with it.

  4. We stay on

After it is running, we keep tuning: refining answers, adding what is missing, trimming what is not useful. You can reach us the way you would reach anyone local.

Notes
  1. 1Nothing goes in front of your customers until you have heard it, tried it, and said yes. We will usually suggest starting small: one tool working well is worth more than a full set you have not tested.
No. 03 · About

Two locals, one basin.

Alpine Ops is Spencer and Bert. We live and work in Vernal, and we build practical AI tools for the businesses around us.

Our neighbors are the shops, crews, clinics, and offices that keep the Uintah Basin running. Most of them are small, busy, and short on hours in the day. The phone rings while the owner is under a sink or halfway through a haircut, and the question on the website goes unanswered until Monday.

We are not a call center in another time zone or a software company you will never speak to. When you reach out, you talk to one of us. When you would rather sit down in person, we will come by, whether you are in Vernal, Naples, Roosevelt, Duchesne, or somewhere in between.

The tools larger companies use to answer every call and follow up on every lead are now within reach of a five-person business. Someone just has to set them up properly, make them sound like you, and stick around afterward. That is the job we have given ourselves.

No. 04 · Questions

Questions owners ask us first.

Plain answers. If yours is not here, bring it to the call and we will go through it together.

Q.1

Will it sound like a robot?

It uses a natural-sounding voice and speaks in plain sentences. It also tells callers it is an assistant, because people deserve to know who they are talking to. You choose what it handles and what it passes to you, and we adjust the wording until it sounds like your business.

Q.2

What happens to calls it can't handle?

It takes a clear message and sends it to you by text so you can call back. Together we decide which kinds of calls should always come straight to you.

Q.3

Do I need to be technical?

No. If you can read a text message, you can use what we build. We handle the setup and walk you through it in plain language.

Q.4

Do you only work with businesses in the Basin?

We are based in Vernal and we are local first, so we like working with Basin businesses face to face. We can also work remotely with businesses elsewhere.

Q.5

Can I start with just one thing?

Yes, and we often suggest it. After-hours answering is a common place to begin. Get one piece working well, then decide what comes next.

Q.6

Who owns my data and my website?

Your business information and your customers belong to your business. Before anything is set up, we will walk through where everything lives and who has access, so there are no surprises later.

No. 05 · Correspondence

Tell us about the calls you are missing.

Book a call and walk us through how your days run. We will tell you plainly whether any of this would help.
